It’s always fun doing presentations, especially ones where we’re walking through the product “live.” Will everything work?! Will the audience like what we say?! While we’re still a few weeks away from unveiling our new user interface and actually launching, on Monday we did get to walk about 150 people through the basic concept of Kachingle using our “old” interface. The group is called Silicon Valley NewTech Meetup (Thanks for inviting us, Vinnie!); they have monthly meetings in Palo Alto featuring start-ups in their early stages. You get 5 minutes to show your stuff, then another 5 to 10 to answer questions.
The feedback we got was all quite positive. Here’s a post from blogger who’s site is called “SocialApp.” Our favorite quote: “I definitely see this as a good model for both the content provider and the reader, as the contributions are purely voluntary. In a way, getting Kachingled is almost equivalent of being Digged but with real money.” He/she also video’d the demo, so if you’ve never heard Cynthia live, here’s your chance.
